how the N.F.L was born

The N.F.L abbrieviation for the National Football League, was discovered in the 1920's by eleven teams. the national football league was originally called the americanprofessional association, but then later it was called american professional league in 1921.then again the name was changed to what it is now by some men in 1922. the league currentlyhas thirty-two american teams in the league from cities and region, divided into two groups. the the american football conference(afc) and the national football conference (nfc). a football seasonusually lasts for seventeen weeks, but each team gets one week off. so instead of them playing seventeen weeks straight they rest on one. the first game of the season is always the one football team against their rivals, and then they go on paying other teams. the season starts on a full week thursday, and is supposed to end somewhere in late december or early january. when a team has already played six games, they go to something called the play-off's to determine their official score and place in the N.F.L.

pulling the famous card...

Lofa Tatupu the line backer for the seattle seahawks, is recently being charged for drinking and driving really fast after a dispatch with one of the other team mates. mr. tatupu was caught driving 50 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour zone, then whenthe cop pulled him over for swirving he gave him the breath test to see if he had been drinking. when the elleged cop tested his breath he saw that lofa had been drinking, and his alchol blood level was twice the amount that is legal . the cop asked mr. lofa wherehe was comming from and mr. lofa told him that he was a seahawk, so the cop asked thecoach mike holmgren if he should press charges on lofa, and the coach gave him a sob storyabout why he shouldnt arrest lofa and press charges: saying lofa was really a good guy and all.

is he permanately gone?

The denver broncos expectations for traivis henry ended earlier than it wassupposed to. he was supposed to be on the broncos contract for at least fivemore years in a free agent contract, as the running back for the broncos. but on monday they gave travis his walking papers and told him to leave early. mike shanahan told reporters that travis had to be let go early because even thoughthe could have been one of the top running backs for one whole season in the NFL ,the coach mike, didnt feel like he had the commitment to the broncos to accutuallywin a victoriuos superbowl for them.
on Sunday at the divisional play-off, the Minnesota vikings owner red McCombs asked the fox sports channel to remove the play-by-play announcer Joe buck from the game. red asked for Joe to be removed because of Joe`s unwanted and disrespectful comments about one of the valued vikings ; Randy Moss. http://fantasyfootball.usatoday.com/index.php?sport=pftball&type=profile&name=2506

two sided story, or sneak attack?

On wednesday the packers president bob harlan decided on wednesdaythat he doesnt want mike sherman as the general manager any more. he decided that he wants the V.P. ted thomson of the seattle seahawksinstead: as a replacement. an unamed source says that ted used to work for the packers before he went to the sea hawks, so bob sees it as a taking back oppertunity. or rather getting back the best vp that he once had.

legend

larry johnson was injured badly during one of his game practices by a man who tried to take on the legend for fun . usually when people play the legendary larry, they try not to take him head on, knowing they will come back broken up. but recently he was challenged by one of his team mates during a game practice, and he ended up breaking his right foot. and was told that he had to sit out for eight games, but recently when the doctor that checked his foot, said he was okay to play after he practiced with the cheif.

the best in the league

tom Brady and Peyton manning are soon going down as the two best quarter backs the NFL has ever seen in the whole league. the league is very happy with tom and Peyton's performances. but what happens when Peyton and tom retire is what everyone is wondering. the NFL is drafting new players and the teams seem to be expanding every year, but no matter who they put up on the teams. the injury rates are climbing higher than ever, and no one seems to match up with tom and Peyton. out of the 64 q.b.'s the NFL ever drafted during 2007, and the 110 q.b.'s that were drafted in 2006, not one of them could ever match up on or even come close to the game point averages, and the amount of touchdowns and yards ran by Payton manning and tom Brady.
